SimpleCase

Security and confidentiality

Your client documents stay yours.

You are trusting SimpleCase with privileged material. Here is exactly what happens to a complaint after you upload it, in plain language.

Only your account can see your cases

Every case, party, and document is tied to your account. Database access rules are enforced on our servers, so one customer's account cannot read another customer's data, even with a valid login.

Your documents are never used to train AI

To read a complaint, SimpleCase sends its contents to Anthropic's commercial API. Anthropic's commercial terms prohibit training its models on customer content sent through that API, and under Anthropic's standard API retention policy, inputs and outputs are deleted within 30 days.

The AI key lives only on our servers and every request requires a signed-in session. Your documents are not sent anywhere else to be read.

Encrypted in transit and at rest

All traffic to SimpleCase uses HTTPS. Case data and uploaded files are stored with our infrastructure providers, which encrypt data at rest.

Delete means delete

When you delete a case, its case data and its uploaded files are removed. To close your account and delete everything, email support@1court.ai and we will confirm when it is done.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell customer data or use your documents for advertising. Access by our team is limited to operating and supporting the service.

Payments never touch our servers

Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. SimpleCase never sees or stores your card number.

Attorneys keep the judgment

SimpleCase prepares drafts for attorney review. It is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. Every generated form stays editable so your team can review and correct it before filing.

Questions from your firm's IT or ethics counsel? Email support@1court.ai and we will answer them directly.
